Michele Gutlove is an renowned artist in Massachusetts who works extensively with glass. Her fabulous works have been installed throughout the USA, and most recently in Finland.
Michele contacted Lumicrest looking for lighting that would bring out the vibrant colors in her art. After experimenting with different lenses and different colors of light, Michele decided that what worked best was a whiter High CRI 4000K Integrated LED Track Head fitted with a specially designed 10 degree lens that created a very hard edge of light.
Her art glass mobile that evokes the waters and fish of Lake Kuolimo, Finland catches the light beautifully.
In another installation in Oregon, Michele’s flock of glass swifts was illuminated with our Integrated LED High CRI track heads to create the dazzling caustic light effect on the wall.
