Description
Super-narrow dotless LED strip, only 5 mm wide. And of course, with High CRI of 90+, to deliver the excellent light quality that Lumicrest is known for.
Perfect for discreet under-stair lighting, shelf lighting and other bright accents. It works great in our narrow Aluminum Channel with Diffuser (SKU 441).
This LED strip can be cut in about 1/2″ increments (13mm), there are small cut-point indicators on the front of the strip.
To solder wires onto it after cutting, simply peel a short section of the backing tape and double-sided tape to expose the solder contacts on the rear. Cover the soldered points again with tape to prevent short circuits. Because the strip is so narrow, soldering can be challenging. If you’d like to have Lumicrest cut the strips to length and add wires, please ask us!
Comes with a quality 3M self-adhesive backing – just cut it to the length you want then peel and stick it to any smooth surface!
Requires a 24 volt DC power supply (sold separately). What size power supply do I need?
Advantages of using 24 volt strip compared to 12 volt are:
– you can mount the power supply further away (without being concerned about voltage loss in the wires)
– the strip maintains consistent brightness over its whole length
– you can run sections longer than 5 meters with consistent brightness (as long as you choose a power supply with sufficient wattage)
