From Task Light to Candlelight with Dim-to-Warm LEDStrip Lighting
Our dim-to-warm COB LED strip starts as a crisp 3000K at full output and mimics the cozy ambiance of incandescent lighting by automatically warming its color temperature to 1800K when fully dimmed.
As the light is dimmed, it transitions to a soothing warm glow akin to candlelight, closely resembling the warmth and color of halogen lights. The technology employs a dual colour temperature LED structure and unique circuitry built into the LED strip to make this possible.
This LED Strip is an excellent choice for living areas and other intimate spaces – perfect for residences, hotels, bars and restaurants – anywhere you want to evoke a warm and welcoming environment with comfortable lighting.
CRI (Color Rendering Index) is 93+.
Installation
This model is a “dotless” COB type LED strip with high-density, closely spaced LEDs, which means it will look completely dotless and smooth when used in an LED profile as shallow as 1/4 inch deep. We recommend using with an LED aluminum profile + diffuser, such as Lumicrest Workhorse or Anvil models (1/4 inch deep).
Use with compatible Lumicrest dimmable drivers with 24V PWM output (SKUs 1550, 1551, 1552) sold separately.
Comes with 20 cm wires attached to each end.
Advantages of using 24 volt LED strip lights compared to 12 volt are:
– you can mount the power supply further away (without being concerned about voltage loss in the wires)
– the strip maintains consistent brightness over its whole length
– you can run sections longer than 5 meters with consistent brightness (as long as you use a power supply with sufficient wattage)
