Our tired and true recessed Mud-In aluminum profile, 2.5 metres long, with a perforated flange.
Give your LED strip light installation a professional finished appearance. The LED strip fits inside this aluminum channel, with a frosted diffusing cover. This product can be cut to any length.
It includes a flat-surface, diffusing plastic cover. Standard is frosted white with all channel finish colours. Both transparent clear and translucent black diffusers are options below.
Comes complete with plastic end caps and mounting clips at no extra charge.

Let your LED light shine fully with this clear channel cover. This option completely protects the LED strip and makes it easier to clean than leaving it uncovered. (Choosing this option will replace the standard frosted white diffuser. If you would like both, contact us for details.)

Black translucent diffuser for Workhorse, Anvil, Chameleon & Mud-In (2.5 m)

For a seamless appearance, the black diffuser looks superb in dark settings, such as black cabinets and similar millwork, as it blends right in when the lights are off. NOTE: This diffuser cuts the light output by about 60%. (Choosing this option will replace the standard frosted white diffuser. If you would like both, contact us for details.)

Description

LED Aluminum Profile with frosted diffusing cover and a perforated flange – 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) long. It fits 10mm wide (or narrower) LED Flexible Strip, and is used for recessed mud-in mounting in drywall. For a dot-free appearance, it is recommended that this channel be used with LED strips with at least 120 LEDs/meter (~40 LEDs/ft), or Dot-Free COB LED strips. Once installed and the drywall mud is painted, only the backlit diffuser lens is visible.
