Super-quick and easy installation to octagon junction boxes, and converting recessed potlights to downlights. This fixture has a 4″ light surface diameter and creates a clean crisp appearance with only 1/2 inch (13 mm) surface protrusion.
Dimmable with most common “triac-based” dimmers (such as Lutron and Leviton).
Perfect for quickly replacing old, dated ceiling fixtures to dimmable efficient LED lights. Potlights are easy too! Our retrofit downlights have the driver built right into the slim housing, so there’s nothing to install but the light.
Installation:
To replace an old light fixture, simply remove the fixture and install the included crossbar onto the junction box. Connect the wires with marettes. Place the LED downlight onto the crossbar, and pop in the little caps to secure the light. You can install one in under a minute!
To turn a 3.5″ or 4″ recessed potlight into an LED downlight, remove the old bulb. Click the screw-base attachment onto the wires of the downlight. Screw the spring-wings onto the crossbar. Attach the crossbar to the LED downlight by popping in the little caps. Now just screw the medium-base E26 into the bulb socket, and press the spring-wings into the potlight for a secure friction fit.
