Description
The Saffire Modular Downlight system offers designers, contractors and homeowners great flexibility in recessed lighting. By combining different trims, wattages, beam angles and color temperatures you can create hundreds of different LED lights, to suit your own unique requirements.
Use our simple menu system to custom-configure your downlights. A 2.75 inch (7cm) wide hole is required in the ceiling for mounting. Each Saffire downlight comes with its own power supply.
Trim
Choose from a range of sleek trim options: square or round, black or white, deep and shallow, gimbal or fixed (non-gimbal). The gimbal allows you to aim the light. The trim is easily installed using spring clips. Some are IP65 damp-rated.
Light
To build your Saffire LED downlights, first choose the trim style (white, black, square, gimbal, fixed etc). Then select the LED module, including color temperature, wattage (8 watt / 12 watt) and beam angle. Beam angles may be 25° (spot), 35° (medium), and 60° (flood) . Available color temperatures are clean white (3000k), natural white (4000k) and dim-to-warm (8 watt only) with a color-temperature range of 3000K to 2200k, automatically becoming warmer when dimmed for natural mood lighting. You don’t need to select the power supply, we automatically include them on your order.
Saffire downlights are dimmable with common dimmers.
