Design Exchange
Established in 1994, Design Exchange is Canada’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the pursuit of design excellence and preservation of design heritage. At the crossroads of multiple disciplines, from furniture and architecture to graphics and fashion, DX exhibitions are curated to reflect contemporary culture, while demonstrating the relevance and importance of design to everyday life.
DX has hosted renowned traveling exhibitions from prestigious cultural institutions across the globe.
As part of their exhibition, “Politics of Fashion, Fashion of Politics”, DX engaged Lumicrest to come up with some alternative green lighting solutions that fit their contemporary design aesthetic.
DX settled on using Lumicrest’s slick modern Slipstream suspended lights and some High CRI LED strip lights inside the display cases.
